With the start of the new year, it’s always great to get organized. If you’re like me, you usually take on more than you can handle. So in this blog post, I will be sharing how I simplify my life.
Eliminate Things You Truly Don’t Need To Do Anymore
The easiest way to get organized is to eliminate things that aren’t essential. The best way to do this is to evaluate any work/hobbies/activities you have in your life. Write them all down with priority to the top of the list. If you look at the bottom of the list and find things that aren’t essential or adding a positive impact on your life, remove them from your life (if you can!).
With a busy life, automation will save you a ton of time. I take a day or two at the beginning of the month and automate everything. For me, I automate most Instagram posts, Pinterest posts, blog posts, and parts of my business. I also set up reminders for things I know will be happening during the month. This gives me some extra control over my life and some spare time during the month.
Use a Planner
I love my planner. I like being able to see everything I have to do visually. There are physical and digital planners available. I prefer a physical planner, but everyone has their preferences. Either physical or digital, I think having a planner would be worth giving a try to simplify your life!
Procrastination sucks. There’s no way around it. Although it’s so easy to procrastinate, do your best not to. Procrastination will make your life harder, and getting things done promptly will be another way to make your life simpler. Stopping procrastination is not always possible, but when it is, it is so beneficial.
